1. Storage and transportation of belt:
1.1 the storage of the belt must comply with the general regulations on the storage of vulcanized rubber.
1.2 during storage and transportation, the belt shall be kept clean to avoid direct contact with ozone, strong light, high temperature, acid, alkali, oil, organic solvent, metal copper, manganese and other substances affecting the quality of rubber. At the same time, it shall avoid direct corrosion by rain, snow and ponding.
1.3 the belt shall be placed in rolls during storage and shall not be folded. The mandrel of the coil shall be horizontal. The ground on which the coil is placed shall be flat and dry. Place wood under the coil to keep it off the ground.
1.4 during handling, it is better to use ropes and steel bars for lifting. First, put a steel rod through the mandrel hole of the coil, and hang the two ends of the steel rod with a rope with a brace to lift the coil. When lifting, pay attention not to damage the belt edge with the rope.
1.5 do not directly insert the sling into the coil for lifting, which will damage the belt. Do not lift the rope around the coil, because there may be a risk of the coil slipping to one side.
2. Pre stretching of belt:
2.1 the belt shall be pre stretched before use. The stretching amount is about 1.5% ~ 2% of the total length of the belt. The stretched belt will hardly elongate in use.
2.2 the belt pre stretching can be carried out by the method shown in Figure 2.
2.3 the belt can also be stretched by the method shown in Figure 3.
2.4 the stretching method shown in Figure 4 is stressed at two points during pre stretching, which can not fully stretch the belt, but may tear off the two connecting holes.
3. Installation of dustpan:
3.1 after the belt is pre stretched, punch holes on the belt according to the distance size required by the design, and the size of the hole should be slightly larger than the size of the dustpan screw.
3.2 install the dustpan on the belt, fully tighten the dustpan screws, and the screw tail shall not expose the belt plane. If the screw tail is exposed to the belt plane, and the head wheel and tail wheel are smooth wheels, after running for a period of time, it will cause the screw to heat, cause the surface glue around the hole to peel off and the screw to be damaged, and even drop the dustpan.
3.3 the installation of dustpan is shown in Figure 5.
3.4 the dustpan at the belt joint shall be installed after the joint is connected.
4. Belt joint mode:
4.1 the joint of belt is usually lap joint, as shown in Figure 6. When lap joint is adopted, the connection strength of the screw at the joint shall be ensured and strengthened if necessary. According to the width of the belt, the spacing of connecting screws in the width direction shall be between 50mm and 60mm.
4.2 when lap joint is adopted, the dustpan shall not be installed on the stressed screw of the joint as far as possible. Because the joint is a double-layer belt, the tail of the screw will expose the belt when installing the dustpan. When passing through the head and tail wheels, the screw at the joint will be loosened, the belt hole at the tail of the screw will be pulled through, and even the bucket will fall off.
4.3 when the force on the belt is large, it is recommended to use the joint in the form shown in Figure 7. This kind of joint can bear large tensile force without breaking the belt.
5. Precautions during use:
5.1 if the working environment requires oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance and high temperature resistance, the belt shall make corresponding rubber formula adjustment to ensure the service life of the belt.
5.2 during the first use, track and check the tension of the belt and make appropriate adjustment to ensure normal operation.
5.3 after running for about 20 hours, stop the machine, check whether the screws at the dustpan and joints are loose, and tighten them in time.
5.4 after continuous operation for one week, it must be checked and adjusted again. Regular inspection and maintenance shall be carried out in the future.
